Description
Chapter 30: Strings
Some attachments bloom before we know what they are tied to.
This is Strings — a pink-blossoming tree on the property of St. Francis of the Woods in Coyle, Oklahoma.
I’m not sure what kind of tree it is, but I know what it felt like: branches reaching, crossing, tangling, and blooming anyway. This image carries the tenderness of connection, the visible and invisible lines between people, places, memory, and desire.
A fine art print for the ones who know some ties are not restraints. Some are proof that something lived.
Matted and ready to frame. Printed and finished by hand.
Part of the Anatomy of Release Chapter Art Collection.
