Description
Chapter 9: The Pull
Some places keep calling even after we stop answering.
This is “The Pull” — photographed around 2007 or 2008 at our property in North Carolina, where we sat at the base of Cold Mountain.
A leaf suspended in water. A still surface. A quiet thing caught between floating and sinking. This image carries the ache of being drawn back toward something you cannot fully return to, but cannot fully release either.
A fine art print for the ones who know memory has a current, and sometimes it pulls harder than distance.
Matted and ready to frame. Printed and finished by hand.
Part of the Anatomy of Release Chapter Art Collection.
